Hello there,
I am a 45 yo professional / part time student with a small dog seeking a large unfurnished room in Launceston (east, west, south and Trevallyn, or even out of town). I will be getting back to Tasmania at the end of January.
The room should be large enough to fit a double bed, large desk and bookcase, sofa and a wardrobe (built-ins / storage would be great) etc... A private bathroom would also be an advantage (I am prepared to adjust the rent accordingly for an ensuite bathroom). I like older style houses with character. A fenced-in backyard would also be important for the small four legged companion, I usually walk the dog every morning, so that it can unwind and do dog business. I have a car and would like a fairly secure parking space if possible (it has a canvas soft-top).
I am looking to share with mature, kind, fun and open minded people. I am pretty easy going, tidy and reliable. I tend to spend most of my time studying in my room, and will often come home late in the evening after work, and will have dinner then). I am European (Swiss/French) of origin but lived in Canada, NZ and Australia most of my life. I have lived and worked in 9 different countries. My hobbies and interests are traveling, architecture, fine arts, cooking (currently working as a consultant chef / restaurant developer).
To relax, I enjoy reading or watching movies with a couple of drinks after a good dinner with friends / flatmates. I also really appreciate nature and the outdoors (bush walking, days at the beach etc..).
