Hi everyone,
My name is Amy, I am 27 years old am currently looking for a housemate to share my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the Docklands from the 11th of October.
The apartment is located in a really secure, modern complex, which is located close to the edge of the CBD and is set off the street, so is very quiet. It also has an amazing outdoor entertaining area with a double bbq area, heated lap pool and decked seating areas.
The location is great as we are very close to the heart of the CBD, parks, areas, several gyms, harbours, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, Crown, Southern Cross, DFO and Etihad Stadium. We also have the free City Circle tram and tram #70 stopping out the front of our building.
Our apartment is located on one of the top floors, so has an amazing view over the city skyline. It has an open-planned living area, which is always sunny (we are northern facing) and opens onto a decked balcony. The kitchen is also very modern, with inbuilt dishwasher, brand new appliances and modern cookware.
The available bedroom is double sized and currently has a queen-size bed, 2 bedside tables, an entertainment unit and bookcase in it. There’s also plenty of cupboard space, with two double wall-to-floor built in wardrobes (with extra storage space up top). Your room also opens straight onto the balcony.
Your private bathroom is quite outside your bedroom door, with plenty of storage space, a large shower and hidden European laundry.
To tell you a bit about me, I work fulltime in a professional role, very positive and cheery, very organized and I love keeping active. I’m looking for someone with a positive outlook on life, aged 25-35, employed full time and with previous experience sharing a home. You will also ideally be very neat, organized and respectful. Also the building has strict regulations about noise, so there are no parties allowed.
Rent is $270 per week ($1170 per calendar month), paid in advance on the 6th of every month. Upon moving in, I will require one month’s rent and five weeks bond up front. The minimum stay is 6 months and move in date is anytime after Monday 11th October.
